I have met many individuals on my Spiritual journey. As one who teaches others to manage their own energy, I am mindful of how I feel around others- how our energies feel when we are together, and how I feel when they are no longer in my space. Dee is a rare gift. Whew, where do I start? I’ve known Dee for years. My perception of time is off, but you really lose all concept of time when you’re with her. I know it’s been at least three years, could be five, but honestly, it feels like an eternity. Even still, it doesn’t feel like enough. I’ve been on my spiritual journey for quite some time now, and from my first meeting, Dee has elevated and enriched my life. She has the power of seeing what can’t be seen with the naked eye. In my travels here on Earth, not too many people have made me feel completely comfortable and open to be my full, true self. It all started with a massage. Her hands touched me and seemingly removed blockages that had been holding me back for ages. Being completely transparent, I have a hard time letting go and fall short by holding grudges, but with each interaction with Dee, I was able to grow and evolve more and more, becoming more of my highest self. Once I had the second massage from her, I knew that no one else at her establishment or any other, for that matter, was worthy of gracing this body. She doesn’t treat her healing as just a job, and you can feel the energy transfer. Let’s go off on a tangent for a moment and talk about her energy: it is unmatched. She has a way of making you feel comfortable enough to open up, be vulnerable, and receive the help you came seeking. It’s like she’s your imaginary friend; knows everything about you without it having to be said. Do you understand how incredible and rare that is? To feel understood without having to constantly and repeatedly overexplain yourself? Through conversing over our first few sessions, we came to the topic of reiki. Now I’ve always felt unconventional and against the status quo, so I was already intrigued. You know how you go to church and still have questions and feel unfulfilled? This is not how it goes with sessions with Dee; if you don’t understand, she makes it her business to innerstand. Our next session we were able to do a reiki session and I could just feel my flower petals opening up more and more for ME to experience how powerful I was. I truly felt like I was blooming. The spirits spoke to her so clearly and she was able to relay pertinent messages for me to carry with me as I trekked along my ever growing journey. From that session on, I saw Dee as not just my massage therapist, but my therapist. Over our course of time, she’s given me so many gifts to help achieve enlightenment, including bath salts to aid in my healing journey and a session to dive deeper into who I am and how to understand myself from every angle, accepting the light and dark. I didn’t have to waste sessions of her trying to push her ideas on me and me naively receiving, but she served as a confirmation of what I already knew, as well as a foreseer of things to come. One specific reiki session in the past, she warned me that spirit said to take care of my gut health. For months, maybe even up to a year, I didn’t quite understand, but in this current stage of my life, it is ever so clear. I should’ve taken her warning closer to heart and been more disciplined, but that’s the beauty of Dee, she never makes you feel like you’re punished, but more so reaffirms what you NEED to hear, not trying to say what she thinks you WANT to hear. It has been such a beautiful experience having her with me on my spiritual journey and I see a lot of myself in her. To put it bluntly, aspiring to reach the level of peace and harmony she exudes. She is open and honest with herself, which pours into you as well. I can see the areas I need to grow, and with each interaction, it’s like she gives me the puzzle piece I’ve been missing to put my picture together. She has become my friend, my mentor, my confidant, and so much more. My soul identifies with Dee, and I’ve never had a connection more pure.
